Client Project: Identity and brand development for the “Stamp Out Oncho” campaign

Why Resonance: We’ve assisted this Task Force for Global Health program with print communication for several years, but the “Stamp Out Oncho” campaign is completely different. Because it is being used by the entire Onchocerciasis / River Blindness community, we needed a completely distinct brand. The recently website will include logos, social media graphics and fact sheets that partner organizations around the world will use to promote the campaign and its goals.

Solution / design rationale: The theme centers around the concept of “stamping out oncho” or “stamping out river blindness” based on the ubiquitous stamp or seal used on official documents that signify progress on oncho elimination.

Of note: MDP created self-stampers with the logo for the campaign launch. Uganda’s prime minister used one during the announcement that the country had made significant gains in eradication and was shifting from a control to an elimination program.
